This is how a rafting tour @ River Inn is working with us...

Rafting River Inn at Imster Schlucht (gorge)

At first we give you a heartily welcome upon arrival at our rafting base at the Garni Gletschertor in the village of Oetztal-Bahnhof. After the first briefing we get you changed into the rafting equipment and commence the tour with the bus shuttle to the take in in Imst. For warming up, some of you can do "pump up the rafts" (only the last pressure bits) and then carry the rafts some 100 meters to the riverbanks where we do the safety talk (15-20 minutes). Being organized we jump in the rafts and hop on the river. The first 2 kilometers are relatively calm water, this is the right spot to show you how to rescue over board persons, how to swim safely and use the right paddling techniques.

Fun or nature? Both!
Now we can hit the first bigger waves having big fun. In between rapids there is calm waters where we relax and enjoy the fabulous nature. Alternatively we can do some silly water games where the sooner or later some of you will end up taking a bath in the river. For the very interested the guide will show you some of his river skills how to steer a raft in wild water.

The hard End...
is hitting us at least on the last kilometer when everybody gets wet because we are intentionally flipping the raft. If you have booked the next more difficult river section this training is compulsory. Arriving at the takeout we load the rafts on the trailer, take off some of the neoprene equipment and drive back to base. Coming there some of you will already look forward to have a nice warm shower and lunch is served straight after this.
