Oetz Trail. Starting directly from the raft base the trail runs along side the banks of the river Oetz, a cycle path has been constructed all the way up until Soelden through the Oetz Valley. Various routes lead us through the magnificent Oetz valley. The trail meanders through forests and open meadows and depending on your fitness leads us up to Piburger Lake and the impressive waterfalls at the 'Wellerbruecke' section on the River Oetz.

Here at the Olympic 'Eiskanal' Canoeing Stadium in Augsburg you have an ideal opportunity to practice your in-line-skating skills. Whether for the professional, long distance training, recreation or 'pure fun' the surrounding forests offers kilometres of tarmaced roads, closed to all motor vehicles making this a safe and ideal place to 'blade'. It is also possible to rent Rollerblades from our Raft Base in 'Oetztal-Bahnhof', Austria. From the Rafting take-out in Haiming a tarmaced street runs all the way to Silz offering perfect conditions to Rollerblade. It is recommended to reserve the Rollerblades beforehand to ensure that we have the correct sizes available in Austria or Germany.

Rollerblades (Macroblade ES, ABEC 5 bearings, 70 mm wheels) are available to rent at our Augsburg office, direct at the 'Eiskanal' for only EURO 15.00 half day. Incl. elbow pads, knee pads and wrist protection.

Private lessons are available for beginners with our authorised IISA (International Inline Skating Association) instructors. The cost of the course is EURO 19.00 per person/hour (excluding equipment). Please reserve the rollerblades beforehand to ensure that we have the correct sizes available in Austria or Germany. (sizes. 24-29).
