This time we will test your skills time trial and head to head!
We supply: 
  • Rafts 
  • Paddle 
  • Life jackets 
  • Helmets 

B.Y.O. all additional equipment. Each competitor participates on his/her own risk. 

 Teams:

All teams are made of 4 persons inclusive guide. Your guide will be provided from us at the spot on demand, but you are free to bring your own guide. Racing classes are: Men, women, mixed teams.

Guides are not to choose! We provide guides upon availability.

Organizing information:
  • All parking area is at the 'Kuhseeparkplatz' opposite River Lech. Just walk over the 'Hochablass' to the south entrance of the  Eiskanal Olympic area.
  • A provisional start list will be published 20th of June 2010, containing your estimated start time. The list will be amended until race day on a daily base.
  • Changing rooms are at the very big nations tent, situated between bowling center and restaurant 'Hochablass' park site. This tent is not guarded and there is no responsibility for deposited personal gear.
  • Bibs are available at the 'Pavilion' close to the bridge at middle of the course, commencing Sat., 26th of June 2010 - 10am. Bibs only to be returned after your run there! 
  • Entry fee: 25.00 EUR per person.
  • Deposit for each bib: EURO 25.00.

With your entry the fee is due. There will be no refund on short term cancellations, as we have prepared it all.

All entry fees are used for a specific purpose for raft racing at the Kanu Schwaben Augsburg club.

Preliminary time schedule:

25th June 2010 - 5 pm

  • training on demand for all teams late afternoon. 

26th June 2010

  • 10-19 h free training in groups of 15! 

  • Every entered team can do one training run!

  • start in designated groups after agreement upon your training slot!

27th June 2010: 

  • 8.30am - Bibs are available @ 'Kunstoff tent' near Bogenbridge in the middle of the course.
  • 9.00 am to 1 pm - 1st run, start interval 1-2 minutes.
  • lunch break 1-2pm.
  • 2pm to 6pm - 2nd run in reverse order according to results of 1st run, cut off applies.
  • 6.30pm - Price giving. 

Top three teams will receive medals of the city council Augsburg.

1st-4th place are receiving attractive prices.

The titel of Augsburg Rafting City Champions 2008 also goes to the skiing division of 1847 Schwaben Augsburg e.V., ahead of Lipperafter and Pro Augsburg 1.
