Stolen rafts from our base at Oetztal-Bahnhof/Tyrol 2006
During the night of August 12th/13th 2006 a full loaded trailer, carrying 4 rafts was taken away from base at Ambergstrasse 3, A-6430 Ötztal-Bahnhof. The trailer was found again in a nearby forest in November 2006.

 Description of rafts:

  • 2 x HYSIDE, model HSB144/blue, crew capacity 4-6 persons - length 3,65 meter
  • 2 x SOTAR, model P14/yellow, crew capacity 6-8 persons - length 4,25 Meter

The rafts are unique, because the SOTAR's were racing rafts from the WRC 1997+1998. Both yellow rafts have a CAMEL branding which is very hard to remove because it is in the material inserted. One of it had a bib triangle cut in the left tube which was repaired professionally. Both rafts have foot cones for safety inside.

  • CAMEL is branded  9 x, additionally 2 x "SOTAR - fabric by Cooley". 
  • Both HYSIDE'S are regualar serial raft, though they also have some unique features.
  • The reward for information and reacquisition is 1000.00 EURO!
