• The accommodation is situated in the middle of the Mountain paradise and ski area of Hochzeiger resort. The resort is serviced by 8 lifts and over 40 km of maintained and prepared skiing slopes.
• The Lodge caters for approx. 75 persons in double/twin rooms and dormitories  (6 persons 7 persons, 8 persons, 9 persons, and 12 persons). Several rooms are with shower and toilet, and several with communal shower and WC.
• Directly situated in front of the house is the 6km floodlight toboggan run, the ski piste to the middle station and lower ski piste to the valley station
• The Tanzalm is run by Andi and Birgit Riml (host of the Muttekopfhuette in summer) and former hosts of the Galflun Alm, 1989-1998. Our regular customers who visited Andi in the past can highly recommend him and his service.

The new bar area in the Tanzalm guarantees to bring a good atmosphere in the evenings this winter!

• The Tanzalm is reached via the `Fernpass' on either the A7 Füssen/Reutte or the A95 Garmisch/Griesen and avoiding motorway fees (Vingette)....

  • Alternatively on the Motorway from either Rosenheim or Bregenz (motorway fees apply) From Imst follow the signs to `Pitztal'

  • Drive through the small village of Artzl and continue on to Wenns then follow the signs to Jerzens ski resort. 

  • In Jerzens turn right at Hotel Lamm and head towards the ski resort.

  • In the last curve before the ski-lift comes the Hotel Panorama, a small tarmac road forks off to the left, towards Kaitanger, follow the road straight up and approx. 50 m after passing House Alpenrose the road folks right, leading onto a winding gravel track.

  • Accessible only for private vehicles and minibuses.

• To the Tanzalm (2000 m): short before reaching the Stalderhut and Hochzeigerhaus, remain on this gravel road for about 1000 more meters. Do not turn right but continue on the main track towards the Tanzalm and middle station. (Not possible in winter).

  • During winter it is only possible to reach the Tanzalm with the Ski lift. Meeting point 16:00-16:30. The Tanzalm is situated directly below the middle station.

   

  Important: The traveling time from the Tanzalm to the Raftbase is approx. 45 Minutes.

  So, leave on time!
