Special long-weekend Winter-packages:

• Floodlit sledging on the toboggan runs in the Hochzeiger (6km) or Plattenrain Alm ski resorts.
• Snow-shoe-tours in the majestic setting on the `Venet' mountain slopes or Hochzeiger.
• Alpine skiing and Snow boarding in the Pitz valley (Plattenrain, Hochzeiger and/or Pitztaler Gletscherbahnen, Rifflsee skiing resort).

Our standard winter-packages include the following activities.

Package 1 - "Snow Weekend"

• 3 x Half-board in one of the secluded mountain hotels or alpine guest houses in the Pitz valley 1500-2000 m, including 3-course evening meals and breakfast buffet. Thursday-Sunday
• 1 x Day Ski Pass for Hochzeiger ski area 2450 m and Plattenrain lift in the Pitztal valley.
• 1 x Floodlit tobogganing on Thursday evening in Jerzens or Plattenrain, including toboggan and lift pass/transport. Exclusive tobogganing for private groups can be organised on other evenings, min. 40 persons.
• 1 x snow shoe tour on the 'Venet' (Pattenrain) or Hochzeiger (Stalderhuette/Tanzalm).
• Personal service through our own reps. We organise and look after all your needs.
• Valid until 15.4.2009.

• Arrival on Thursday evening must be between 16:00 and 16:30 due to the lift transport for both the Stalderhuette and Tanzalm. 
• The Plattenrain can be reached at all times by road, however, depending on snow conditions it may be necessary to use snow chains. 
• The sauna in the Stalderhütte can be used on Friday and Saturday between 15:00 and 18:00.
• Departure to further Ski-resorts is reached with private vehicles (A  free bus service is available for Hochzeiger ski area - departing from the Plattenrain bus stop on the main road or from Artzl). 
• For large groups (20+) a special bus service can be arranged. 
• The winter-packages are also available for larger groups 20+ Pers. from Sunday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday.

• 6 Nights Half-board in Alpengasthof Plattenrain (Arzl /Pitztal/1506 m) or Stalderhut or Tanzalm (Pitztal/1820/2000 m). It is necessary to arrive before 16.30 for both the Stalderhuette/Tanzalm due to the lift transport. After 16.30, the accommodation can only be reached by foot. It is possible to reach the accommodation by car, but only with snow chains!!! The Plattenrain can be reached at all times by road, however, depending on snow conditions it may be necessary to use snow chains. • 1 x Snow shoe tour Sunday-morning or afternoon. Tour length between 2-5 hours.
• 1 x Apres-ski with Malt-Wine or Rum Tee (1/4 l per Person incl.) outside on the snow bar between 20:00-22:00 You choose the evening.
• Sauna (Stalderhuette) Friday & Sunday 15:00-18:00Departure to further Ski-resorts is reached with private vehicles (A  free bus service is available for Hochzeiger ski area - departing from the Plattenrain bus stop on the main road or from Artzl). For large groups (20+) a special bus service can be arranged. Stalderhuette/Tanzalm direct on Piste.

Moonlight Tobogganing:

Floodlit sledging - A splendid magic which takes place in Hochzeiger (accommodation Plattenrain/Tanzalm/Stalderhuette) or Hoch-Imst on a purpose built toboggan runs. The lift pass and toboggan rental is all inclusive and is in operation on (Hochzeiger) Monday/Thursday or (Hoch-Imst) Friday/Saturday from 19:00. Transport to the Ski-resort is reached with private vehicles. Due to changing weather conditions wheel chains are compulsory. In this activity you take part at your own risk. We hold no responsibility for loss of equipment or injury. After the sledging warm yourself up with a cup of hot malt-wine served directly at the end of the run. (minimum 20 persons).

Snow shoe tour or Trapper tours is a winter sport which can be learned very quickly. The length of the tours are limited only by your own physical condition. We have different tours according to your desires which are between 2-5 hours long. Our Guide will lead you to some of the most impressive places with breath-taking views of the Venet. The group sizes are limited between 8-15 persons. The snow shoes are supplied by us. You should bring along your own ski or outdoor clothing and a good Trekking boot (no ski boots) and ski poles with you. Gaters and a drink bottle are recommended.

You make your own tracks up towards the 'Venet', the only tracks to be seen are those made from the wildlife on the mountain slopes. Snowboarders take your along on the tour and return down wonderful off-piste slopes.

Ski & Snowboard

The first days skiing always takes place in Jerzens (winter package 1-3) Pitztal valley. Packages 4-5 the three day or week programs have the option to ski all areas in the Pitztal valley and Hoch Imst. The transfer to the Skiing Resorts in Pitztal is free of charge (A  free bus service is available for Hochzeiger ski area - departing from the Plattenrain bus stop on the main road or from Artzl). For large groups (20+) a special bus service can be arranged. Stalderhuette/Tanzalm direct on Piste.) To all other skiing areas self-transfer is necessary. Skiing is undertaken at your own risk.
